Well, I’m still trying to get my picture life in order and I’m slowly but surely getting there. I bought some new software that I am really excited to learn. I have Adobe Photoshop and I have no idea how to use it. That is on my bucket list. I’ve bought a book and will slowly be teaching myself how to use Photoshop. It’s not the most user friendly software I’ve encountered, but I’ll get there. Right now, I know enough to get myself in a lot of trouble.
My picture organization, however, was/is really a mess. My MacBook is older and I don’t have the biggest hard drive. I don’t know if I can change where iPhoto stores photos and quite honestly I don’t want to mess with my iPhoto libary, as I am still working on gathering 12,000 pictures that I lost. So I bought Lightroom 4 and I can’t wait to get started using it! I will have some time this evening when I can start importing pictures and start playing. It’s going to be fun!
I mean even the cover shot of this software is so cool. I actually bought my copy at Best Buy. It was a pretty good deal. I could have got it for less at B&H but I wanted to start working on photo organization NOW. I am a Gen-Xer, so I must have instant gratification. Looking forward to posting some of the shots and things I’ll be able to do in Lightroom.
